Jon, comes out by the fuel screw with a banjo bolt and goes across to the rear of the head.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

It would've been fine if the tire had had air in it when I started jacking like the other one did. I just got the floor jack from home brought to me, and all was well

I went snowboarding today. Did a lesson first which went quite well, and helped a lot with getting the basics down. Then the rest of the day was having fun crashing, and occasionally boarding decently. I definitely want to go more now

I love it when I go to town and buy $60 of brake parts only to find that the shoes are just out of adjustment. REFUND!

The ignorance of youth. Pull the drum 1st and look and then buy the parts. You could have saved fuel money. Twice.

I tried 6 hours one day to get the hang of snowboarding. I dislocated my shoulder 3 times falling while attempting a green circle (I think that is the most beginner slope). 6 hours of frustration while my buddies got the hang of it and started going down black diamond hills. We went back to the cabin for supper and a few of us returned for night time boarding. I grabbed a pair of ski's and 30 minutes later I am going down black diamonds. I even hit up a double black diamond. Never again till I get more control.

it's probably good we weren't going very fast. I hurt in a bunch of places now, and I bet my calves are going to be sore tomorrow

I know right? The one I checked was bad, but I adjusted the other up and now the parking brake holds. 50% is good enough for me. It does it's job. It was worth the trip to town just because I could have the Windows down and listen to beautiful turbo music.

Hansen! Welcome back !

Yeah that fitting here is my temporary fix. Bill has one for me though.

I hate dealerships.

I took my car somewhere else for a second opinion and he said compression in all cylinders are fine, hooked it up to his computers and it wasn't throwing any codes, ran it up the interstate (with my permission) and everything was fine. The dealership I took it to is either ridiculously incompetent or they were trying to scam me into an engine. The "tech" said the car as "running rough" but now I think he just didn't know what a diesel sounded like.

So, I dodged a very expensive bullet. I already have the car scheduled for a DPF & EGR delete as well as a full 3" straight pipe now.

Glad to hear it wasn't the engine.

Thanks, so am I. Of course now I feel a bit of an ass since I spent hours on the phone with VW demanding they pay for the engine damage to my car caused by their design flaw.

I'm glad the weather has been warming up. I drove my truck for the first time in a long time last week, I've definitely missed that Cummins!

What kind of jackass steals part of a bumper cover though? I still haven't had any luck trying to find a replacement for that piece.
