My paw in law built a 60x140 5yrs ago.....it's damn near full now. The only way he can go now is up in there

I want one like on Smallville (teenage superman show/10 or 12yrs ago).
I'm fixing to start on a barn. The plan is to start with a 40x40 pole barn with tube trusses and 8x8 post,16' eves. Build a loft in the center and stalls in the bottom, wash rack and tack/feed room. Once I heal from that hit, there will be drop sheids 20'wide on either side.....one for hay,the other for tractor/implement storage. I may expand farther rearward one day.....but I hope the hell not lol.

Been researching the RIA, going by gun broker, there pretty affordable. I'll have to try and find a local dealer and pit my hands on one.
Picked up a Taurus 651 snubby few months back. Was kinda leery, as Taurus has a a bad rap for quality. Haven't shot alot of full power loads threw it, but with hand loads its a nice plinker. I imagine some +P .357 loads it'd be a handful. Biggest complaint is the angle of the grip. At 7yds, you literally have to bury the front sight to hit center mass. Takes some getting used to, especially if you go from a 1911 or Glock

RIA are affordable and they shoot for every time but like I said there's a reason they are cheap. Poor rought finish, loose fitting parts, triggers are not anything to write home about, etc. I would save until you can afford a Colt, Kimber, Springfield.

Don't get me wrong RIA 1911s aren't bad by any means. I just like to have nice things.

I understand what your saying, I like nice things too. There was a time when I had extra money to spend on really nice guns. Scoped M1A, Browning 525 Sporting grade O/U, Premier Remington 11-87, etc all adorn my cabinet. But now I find it hard to drop $1200+ for a gun I don't use everyday. At this point, I'm willing to sacrifice some quality. I can polish parts and smooth edges as needed.
I'd love a stainless Kimber compact, just isn't in the budget.

I'll have a 1911 one day but I think the next pistol I'll be buying is a Glock 43. I have a 35 as my duty weapon but it is far too big to conceal carry and I can get a brand new 43 for right at $350 (blue label pricing) so I think I'll go that route.

It sure did. When it was stock I would get mid 40's mpg out of a tank, which is still over what the EPA estimates. After the deletes and tune I get low to mid 50's mpg out of a tank. Now to be fair I bought the car in December of '14 and deleted it in April of this year so the vast majority of time the car was stock the weather was pretty damn cold. But even on the first tank after deleting it when the weather was the same, the car got much better mileage after being deleted, probably almost 5mpg average over a tank.

Plus the car is so much more fun to drive now that I can actually hear the exhaust and have about 200fwhp on tap. She'll chirp the tires through the first three gears if I get on it.

I did want a 9mm but I visited a few gun shops and didn't find a single 9mm 1911, so I got this one in .45auto. I already reload 45 so I figure I can do a 185 grain at about 800 fps and it should keep the recoil down pretty good.

I do 230 round nose lead over 3.9gns of bullseye for a plinking load or if I'm punching paper 185gn swc over 3.5gn of bullseye. Walking around load is 5gns under a 255gn rn lead bullet.....thumper loads. All of them are powder coated.
