Thanks df.

On another note I have one test left for school, and I'm back to work Monday. If it's anything like last year I'm going to be really slow for a bit

All right Pete set down your drink before reading any farther.

Dman You might want to reframe from using those two letters when you reply. Almost all the members have been called a DF (dumb F)a few times over the years.

So it makes it hard to tell who your replying to.

LOL yeah didn't really think about that when I made the screen name.

So...will a house outlet handle a 300 watt magnetic heater and a block heater coming on a minute apart???

Good point Phillip. I did not think of that.

As for the house outlet thing there's only one way to find out. Test the night before. If it blows the breaker then a rethink of which outlet one of them is plugged into could be needed

Any reason one cant use soft copper tubing like A/C refrigerant tubing to run auto coolant threw? Again, more M37 awesomness, trying to hook my heat exchanger to the motor, and I dont want to run rubber hose, due to the distance, and chance of damage. Have been unsuccessful locating metal brake line in 5/8" size, thought that flexy copper would work. I'll still hook it up by rubber hose,

Thoughts, suggestions are appreciated

If its grade L or M its rated for 600 PSI. In a vehicle app just support it well. Copper if allowed to flex much will break.

That 300 watt heater pulls. 2.75 amps. The orginal block heater pulls 13 amps. If the run isn't to far away from plug and the wires are proper size to the plug itself. A 20 amp breaker will handle the load just fine.

Thanks Phillip. I was thinking securing them with down with either rubber padded clamps you screw down, or some of the double house clamps similar to what's on street rods.

Douglas, if you ever log in anymore, do you have a twin brother teaching at Purdue?

I do a double take every time I see this guy.

Does anybody have a broken 3rd gen type of tow mirror they want to get rid of or take a part off for me? I broke the round plate that holds the glass on my '97 and now I have no mirror on the drivers side. It sucks!

Apparently flipped up looks like a moose.

On another note my final test was at 8 this morning, and when we got out we started drinking. By 3 I was the only one of my class still on campus

I enjoy ribbing dodge guys about those mirrors but truth is you can see so much better with them up.

Its true. But most seem to not know they fold down. I blow my dad crap ocasionally, or fold one down on the pass side. At least he has a dually and has a valid excuse to leave them up...sorta. maybe he needs a flatbill for fathers day?

I haven't noticed a huge difference with my 4th gen ones. The truck just starts feeling ridiculously wide with them up
