There's also a 4th gen out there with 37's and no lift. He's running +18 offset 18's, and apparently doesn't rub at all (I don't think he's trimmed anything either

On another note I did the 6 hour trip to Calgary today for school on Monday. Roads were semi decent until the last 45 minutes to an hour when I ran into snow. Nearly got close to losing it once in 2wd, so switched to 4, and listened to the one binding u-joint complain

Personally I'd level the 06 and lower the RC some so you stop having drive line issues with it.

Brah, if it's not completely unusable, how's anybody going to take it seriously as a company vehicle? ;)

If you want to make it a spectacle for THD, then go big. 8", 37x15", ridiculous offset, go for it.

You shoulda already known nobody here would be into that stuff. Well, Dmann I guess, but I can't think of a single ridiculous 1stgen I've seen on a forum. There's a bunch of them on FB though, it seems a new one turns up every day.

An 8" lift on a common rail doesn't make it useless.....They are not like a 1st gen, where if you lift them 4" you can't use 4wd without a vibration.

I'll end up with a 6".... I want an 8, but I refuse to drive around on 40" tires. And 37s look small on an 8... and look perfect on a 6.

IMO jamming way the hell too big of tires on a truck looks just as dumb as way too small. A leveling kit with 37s looks completely homo to me.

And as far as the Ramcharger....... it ONLY has a 3" suspension lift. The rest was body, which was a necessity to use the frame.

I also will not drop it below a 37" tire because it has 4.10 gears. I tested it with 35s and it sucked for how I use it.

And my driveline issues really are not that big, most don't notice it... but there are other ways to fix those issues.

Just giving you chit Eric.

I woke with a sore throat and headache today. I have been having many brain farts today. Most notably is me making breakfast. I got down a bowl to whip up some scrambled eggs. I crack the egg open and proceed to open the egg over the sink. Yep. Dropped the good stuff into the disposal.

And it snowed 2.5" last night. I love this weather! I took the Subbie out to do some shopping and was doing donuts in the parking lot.
