I don't want to seem like a whiner, (any more than usual) because the chat thread is going up like a rocket, but I thought we had a gun thread started someplace? ;)

Ellis, same with me. When I came back from training in Texas I didn't want to work and get my hands dirty because they were nice and clean. Lasted an hour or so.
And try 120 grit, it's softer on the hands.

Green scratchy pads (like for dishes) and fast orange for me. Nothing else cuts it

Scotchbrite pads Caleb! They make them in red and other colors too. They are a fine sanding pad for doing body work now.

Caleb, you have a 46re laying around? I know a guy in Indiana looking for one.

Pete when I worked in Texas during my school days....the national tire and battery I worked at had some hand cleaner that was serviced by the uniform company that was awesome. That stuff was almost 50% sand and it would cut your skin down.

Anyone that would, please pray for my dad today. He's having a mass removed from his trachea today. 5-6 hour surgery at the Cleveland Clinic....several days in the hospital. Won't know till they're in there if it's cancer or not. Pretty serious for sure.

46 is gasser tranny, not necessarily a half ton. My nephew has friend needs one for dodge truck. besides the trucks they put them in Dakotas and durangos and even grand Cherokees, although I believe the grands had a right side starter case. just thought I'd ask.

Update on my dad:

We had a pager that was supposed to go off when they started cutting....3 hours had gone by from when they had him prepped and ready.....pager went off and said to go to the desk. Doctor called and said that they weren't going to do the surgery because the tumor had gotten smaller. Pics from the scope he had in September and today showed it being smaller now. New cat scan tomorrow and another scope scheduled for Friday. Doctor said it was a positive thing and that things like that don't shrink on their own. Keep him in your prayers, that it's gone so they don't have to cut him open. It was going to be a rough one, with 3 months off work and 3 more months of light duty after that.

Ellis, we have some stuff at work, supposed to be environmentally friendly, made from walnut shells. It works great. I've seen it lots of places, just has different labels depending on who is selling it.

Tom, Can I pull the valve body from a 47RE and install a gasser 47RH valve body with the diesel springs and have a 47RH? Or are there other differences?

Ok I'm starting to lose faith in humanity. There's a 4th genner arguing til he's blue in the face that an s364 is laggy on a 6.7 cummins. His last statement was that a 6th gear roll on takes 2100rpm for the thing to come to life. That is literally when my freaking s480 comes to life on any roll on. Last night I even managed 20psi in 5th by 2 grand with a bit of uphill loading the engine more. Someone here please restore at least some of my faith
