I just got my rotors back from being turned. They are only a year or so old, but I had a vibration I have been chasing too. Noticed 2 spots on the inside surface looked like it got hit. Maybe I slipped with the hammer when I put the studs in? :? Guy that turned them said the other side had a high spot too. I haven't driven it yet, but I bet that was my problem.

could be in the hubs also. How did you have the tires balanced?
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.

Spin balanced. I drove it to work today, still vibrates, but feels different. Screw it, I'm just gonna drive the SOB like I have been! :mrgreen:

Been a long time since I've posted here. Since I bought my TDI my '91 has just been sitting, I try to drive it every month or so but I don't have the funds to do what I want to do with it since Dallas and I are trying to get a house. Speaking of my TDI though, I'll be installing a CP3 pump on it to replace the failure prone CP4 pump the common rail TDIs use. It should go nicely with my tune and straight piped exhaust. I don't remember if I posted it here or not, but here is a quick little drive of my '10 TDI. Someone wanted to hear what a 3" straight pipe sounded like while driving so I had Dallas film for me.

There's some snow on the ground here, and some more in the forecast.

The Roo Hunter: 93 w250, lifted, 2 whistle machines, and a bunch of other go fast goodies, uhh..... not there yet
Jaeger: 12 ram 3500. Lifted, exhausted, and fed an excessive quantity of air
The Huntress: 02 Jetta TDI. No muffler, egr, horsepower

I hope this is the end of hurricanes for a while. Thank goodness for gensets. All the roads are flooded. Staying home.

For once in 3 years, my untouched-so-far 75 gallon aux tank got used. That gas pipeline that busted about a month ago made me wonder if diesel would be affected or not, so I put 68 gallons in it. Used the last of it as of 2 days ago, turned out to be a good thing as the diesel pumps at the stations ran dry for the first 2 weeks.
1992 W250, 5 speed, 4.10, Ext. cab Ext. bed, 12.5k winch, 75 gal. fuel tank

H1C/18

Fuel: THD 6x10 VCO sticks, THD 12 psi piston pump, THD fuel pin, 366 spring, fuel screw 2 turns in, timing to the head/ >1/4”
Muffler delete

Minimum 60% WMO full time since Sep. 2018
