My new job is sitting at 300% load. We started at 1400% Monday but we had 2 guys from MN get a detail down here to help get the load cleared. Then once they leave, gotta clear the load everyday which means $$$$.

Were crazy busy. Last 3-4 months of 2016 were slow, no new orders, lots of jobs being bid, but no customer approvals coming back in. Day after the elections, we hit a $150,000 order day and haven't looked back. Everyday has been $100,000 plus and were working 5 days a week, 10hr days with optional Saturday as long as we want.
Figure might as well work it now before summer hits, don't do much outside this time of year anyways

Anybody here have experience with water heaters? I closed on my house in January and we're still in the process of moving in (painting sucks) but there is something going on with my water heater. It only works if you hit the reset button on it, then I will have hot water for a couple of days and it will go cold again. I have to hit the reset button again (and wait for all the water to heat) before I can get hot water for a couple more days. It isn't throwing any breakers or anything, anyone know what I should look for?

Also, I think I've decided to sell my TDI back. I put my information in the website and I should be getting back more than I actually paid for the car which is a deal I can't pass up. I was originally going to look for an '89 2wd Cummins to daily drive but my dad bought this...

My job is up and down. (heavy equipment tech) When I started it was usually busy up until Christmas, then would slow down until March. Now the last few years it's work for 2 weeks, a month, then it drops to almost nothing for a week, 2 weeks, 3, then it picks up again. All year round it goes like that.

Parker, electric water heater? Is the reset on the unit? I would guess there is an element going bad and popping the circuit.

Speaking of jobs, this week is the first of my 2 weeks notice. I've submitted for a business license and when that gets back to me, I'll be my own man.

Busy here too! Dad's construction business has about 6 months work lined up (I work part-time for him). We are growing more livestock than we ever have on my farm and my wife's soap making business is busier than its been in the past for the time of year.

The reset is temperature controlled, its job is to kick if the tank gets too hot. Electrical issue (element) would be tripping the breaker

The thermostats have failed. You can get two new thermostats and two new elements for about $30 in a kit at your favorite home store. I have the socket you need for the elements but as cheap as they are you might as well just buy one.

Thanks Jon. Ellis, I'm too old to frame full time anymore. I'm going to be building decks for a few builders around this area.

Hourly, and overtime over 8, when there is any. It still gets old when there are 3 or 4 guys standing around in the shop for a few days.

I bet it does Pete. Wish I had O/T pay again.....It's been 17yrs since I've had an hourly job and double time.
