You wouldn't believe what a 1 1/8oz slug will do to car doors, hoods, and 4x4 post.
I'm working on accuracy with them in a smooth bore shotgun for now. At 50yrds I can keep them on a styrofoam plate......so far.
Looking into either a 590a1 mossberg or a 1300 Winchester with a rifled slug barrel.
What slug mold are you using? For the money the 7/8oz Lee slug mold seems to be the best way to make cheap bird shells into big holes in a target.

You tired of it too? Figured I was the only one.
I've pretty much just quit fooling with anything automotive......burnt out by screwing with everyone else schit. Guns and reloading has been burning up my spare (and rare) time. Its due for a major overhaul bodywork wise. I have all the parts here I have been collecting for 7 or 8 years to do it. No need to rush into it.

That Lyman mold is nice but $$$. A customer recently traded a 1300 Winchester he couldn't sell for a few hours of my time, it's going to get a magazine extension and a bit of a trim on the barrel for defense against things that make strange noises in the dark out at the farm... and blowing the life out of those vicious 2 liter bottles
