it’s a weird feeling not having any running vehicles. I mean all I have to do is put oil in my car, and it’s back up, but I have the turbo off of my fourth gen, and a fresh hole in the manifold. Checking off three items on my to do list.

I think I've got the robo-spammers at bay, . . . for the moment anyway.

With that, New Member registration is turned back on. :)

Anybody still alive other than me?

Is anybody interested in my green truck? I found a replacement for it so it needs to go!

I also check in a few times a day. If there’s no posts I don’t do anything.

Same here. Also I don't ever do anything with my first gen anymore so not much to talk about there.

I just never have any money for mine. I have a transmission to swap into it, but I need a valve body, and shifter among other things before it can really go in. My 4th gen, and Jetta also need injectors.

Not so much Pete! Working to pay for stuff, getting stuff paid for and buying new stuff.....keeps me well occupied. So much so the dodge is nothing but a lawn ornament that stays hooked to a stock trailer for the 4H doings. Still trust it more than the Duramax but the duramax sure is nice to ride in. Drag it in D and let it eat. Got 13mph dragging a 40’ bumper pull camper with a dry weight of 10,500 this past week. Round trip of 725 miles in the middle of Alabama

Nice! Not bad mileage for pulling a trailer!
I don't check in as often as I used to, got a new GF that keeps me occupied. This is the first time since I posted last wednesday. Plus it's that time of year I'm trying to get stuff done before winter.
I'm looking for a sucker... I mean buyer for my '97, just bit the bullet and got a '17, nice truck, needs a good cleaning though, inside is filthy!

Still here. I was kind of tired of daily driving a dually every day so I sold my '92 W350 and bought this.

It is a 1972 Mercedes 220D. Diesel engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. I bought it on June 22nd in Virginia with 102K miles on it, it has 105K miles on it now. I still have my '91 but it needs a bit of work before I can really daily drive it again.

Yup, 4th gens are nice! I still like driving my firsty, the difference in acceleration is noticeable . Computers didn’t help that any!
