Best wishes Ellis. Hopefully she pulls through soon.

Do you guys think I could get away with just a billet input when I put the 47 I have together?

I hate to read that Ellis. Hoping it goes good as it can for ya’ll.

Yesterday I put a fatter main jet the crf and couldn’t wait to ride it.....at 8 o clock. Pitch dark so my father in laws high end flashlight ducttaped to the front fender allowed me to take a blast up the mountain.

Appreciate the well wishes men. Procedure was done today and I’m sitting in the same waiting room now that I walked into at 8am. She’s been in recovery since 12:30.

Thanks to bc847 for trying to get my account at dtr straitened up, didn't work, somebody over there don't like me. I hate facebook, posts disappear to quick and takes forever to scroll down trying to find them. Is there going to be a fall replacement for sop this year? I would like to find one somewhere close to go to sometime during the year, I dont have enough room to host one.

Is Chris still doing “sop” in Missouri? Otherwise there’s the one in Iowa in June?

Looks like I’ve finally sorted the ejector issues I’ve had with my 1911. Turned out it was loose, and wouldn’t hold the round at all. I adjusted it the other day, and since the power went out at work this morning, and I got off while it was still daylight I went out, and put somewhere over 100 rounds through it, and it never failed an ejection, so I’m really pleased with that.

So it’s right around -40 out right now, so naturally, being Canadian I decided the thing to do was shovel my six vehicle driveway. Took around an hour, and I had to take off my hat, and switch to a lighter jacket, then open said jacket. Overall it wasn’t as bad as I’d thought it’d be.

Duck tape doesn’t work well at that temp. Had to use the rink shovel, and ergonomic snow shovel (after using the straight snow shovels my whole life I was surprised how much difference the curved ones make on your back).

Jetting a carb’d bike with modern eth free pump gas, anyone know what shade of grey and how tall (2mm?) the soot ring at the base of the plug porcelain should be after a WOT plug chop?

I know my bike is on the fat side based on performance, but it still won’t color the plug after a WOT chop.

I will only admit to disliking gasoline vehicles in general, so I don’t have a good answer for you. I did see a guy put a three cylinder John Deere industrial engine in a motorcycle recently. Talked to the guy about putting compounds on it, and he’d had the same thought as it turned out.
