I have about that long myself. Starting to look forward to it. I'm not liking working in the cold anymore! I just want to putter with my truck or tractors.

I do a lot with ham radio now. I put up 2 towers, have several antennas. Talked to every continent except Antarctica. I hate the cold so much that when I am not working, I am inside playing radio. Sold off many "going no where" projects to fund the hobby. I read BC's thread a couple times a week. Drove the 89 once this year, the 93 lost its crank sensor and did not get fixed yet, and the 92 gets worked during the summer hauling equipment.

I was something of a Ham listener some years ago. Collected a bunch of old Heathkit equipment (SB-102, etc) and built a 50' long-wire tower out of EMT conduit. I enjoyed learning about and making Yagi antennas.

I don't have any of the older equipment as I am a newbie. Had my license about 6 years now. I'm an extra class holder now. Antennas are fun to make. I build simple antennas, dipoles, loops ect.

I have another 20 years before I can retire at the earliest lol. I stop in every now and then but the race cars keep me busy anymore. Right now everything is in hibernation mode though.

I sold all my cows and bought a bandsaw mill, I can cut a 24 inch by 17ft log, right now that's my hobby I suppose, drove the 93 to work today, my daughter and her family are living with us until next fall, they are building a new house on the farm, it's gonna be a super long winter, I hope to get a couple of major things done in the barn.
