I built 5" shackles from flat bar and never had DW since. In fact, I've had a sloppy steering box, cracked bracket, and a worn draglink since. Still no death wobble.
Very well could be. It has a super heavy home built winch bumper / brush guard and original springs. Pretty much flat on the bump stops. It appears to me to need a camber king pin kit as well, the drivers side looks a touch out of spec on camber, yet the king pin is tight. Im the 3rd owner and its been a work truck since new. Getting old, just like me.
