yes 6.5l chevy is a diesel, we put a push rod right throught the rocker last fall :D

The 6.5L was good enough for the military, it should be good enough for everyone else right?

Actually, it's a pretty good engine, better than a powerstroke, and a Dmax, as far as service life, I think. They used them on the slope, where I worked (prudhoe bay)
I think it's comparable to the non turbo Ford.
