I think he's an honest guy, but you cant be too careful these days. I think we have a deal worked out.
I asked him where it was financed, and it's through a local bank, in a small town. I am going to meet him tomorrow (had to deal my foreman 5% of the
profit from the sale of whichever truck I sell), look the truck over, and then go to the bank and get the title. Then we are going to return and load the truck. I explained it was a lot of money to be wiring, and not to take it personally that I dont trust a total stranger, and he was cool with that.
I was kind of pre-occupied last night, and I think had a bad connection (who'd have thought, cel to cell?), and didnt get his drift during the conversation.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I like the idea of sending Bill to get it DIRT cheap (vs just cheap), but I'm afraid I still wouldnt see the truck
. As for parting it out, I could do that, or just put the Green cab on the "new" frame.
