I have no idea what was going on with that thing, I think the whole point of it was just to show off the turbo set up. It didn't even have the P-pump on it, just block, head, and turbos. Here are all the pictures I took of it.

They were real intimidating...

That's a Common rail. 03 or newer.........from the electrical connector on the head i would say 03-05

Looks like it had one of those bolt on intake that require you to remove/ shave, the permanent one off the head first.

Most definitely a display eng ONLY......Vary cool just the same ;)

I can see where you would thing it a p pump by the way the fuel lines are in line together.

Also the straight tooth crank gear, kind of give it a way also.

That makes a lot of sense!

I only saw two VE's trucks there other than mine, and one was towing one of the show trucks.

There weren't too many more P-pumped rigs there, almost all 24V's. It was kind of saddening to me. A lot more Fords than I had expected also...

I got there around lunch time because I had to drive a little ways and I washed my truck before I left so it would be nice and shiny for the dyno.

I finally find the guy to sign up with and he tells me today is filled up, and I work tomorrow.

So I didn't get to dyno

Here are some pictures though...

How many turbos is too many?

SUPER clean Cummins swap. P-pumped/47rh/s300. VERY nice.

That event is just getting very popular, so you can't expect to just show up and dyno your truck. The only way that you really have a chance of getting on the rollers is to sign up online in advance. You can always call A.R.T. and set up an appointment to dyno. That's what I did, you just won't have a crowd of onlookers when you do it.

What did they charge you? They were charging $60 at the event for three pulls. I was under the impression that was cheaper than normal, but I've never dyno'd anything, so I don't know.

I was going to pre-register, but I wasn't sure I was going to be able to go until the last minute.

They charged me $55 for two runs.

That triple turbo Cummins in the pics looks like it was built by Zac Hamilton at Hamilton Diesel in Liberty Hill, TX. Nice guy and really seems to know his stuff. Hamilton Diesel is a pleasure to deal with.

yes that was tomtom. i dont know if it looks horrible (he painted the short bed before it was put on and hasn't painted the front of the truck yet so it is multy colored at the moment). the #'s are with a very mild p-pump setup. it'll be super nice when its done.

that chevy conversion is a very good job. looks like it was born in there. tom said they had a ball and the donuts were worth the trip alone :D . wish i coulda made it.
