Hot Pockets

Postby Greenleaf » Wed Jan 24, 2007 10:50 am

Tell me how a hot pocket can transform from Siberian chill to Volcanic heat in under 2 minutes time? :x I'm talking hot enough to melt the chrome off the bumper of a 56 Chevy.

These blasted things are dangerous.

Guys,

Thanks for the sedatives....'er, sentiments. I just got back from the emergency room. Nothing permanent. They found some extra skin on my butt and grafted it onto my tongue. The burn unit said it could have been worse. They told me that people have been known to loose their tongue from eating a HOT pocket. I have to go to the dermotologist tomarrow after work and have them remove the gauze and rewrap it.

I won't be able to eat anything more than cold drinks for some time. The wife is going to drop in at the grocery and buy some Ovalteen and Slim Fast drink mix.. I'll be sucking down my lunch through a straw the next week. I just hope everything don't taste like my butt.

Are you sure it was 2 minutes and not 20 minutes? We know you work sooo hard that you lose track of time.

Sorry to hear that man, I just had a hotpocket too! In an 800watt plus microwave dont exceed a minute 20, still gotta let it sit for a minute or 2.
