Anyone ever used this?

Postby peobryant » Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:54 pm

Does anyone have experience with this...?

I'm sick of having gauges, but nowhere to mount them. I bought a cheap dash pod and it doesn't work. Does anybody know of any other good pillar mounts, or is this the best one?

Thanks in advance,
Parker

tem Number : GM-DG-15198

Notice the GM is first? You may have to cut it to get it perfect or something.

Those gages stand up pretty straight. They might be hard to see in bright sunlight.

AutoMeter makes a dual gage A pillar pod for our trucks. The gage viewing angle is good.

The Autometer viewing angle is good provided that you're 6'2" and have a lazy eye, anyways... But it's better than anything else out there.

So this would be my best bet then?

I also bought a tranny temp gauge, but I guess I'll just put the pyro and boost gauges in until I find somewhere to put the tranny gauge.

For a 3rd, the steering column mount for 94-98 works perfect on ours too.

Well, that gauge pod better be the right one, because I just ordered it, and I don't want to worthless pods sitting around my house...

And rbrettctd, thanks for the tip on the steering mount, I will check that out.

Thanks again,
Parker
