Is that for the pinging or the fuel mileage?

Pinging, it makes the mixture a tad richer, to take out the ping. I have done it tons of times. Also, a 180* thermostat works too, but MPG may go down a tad.

Another thing to try for the pinging is an injector sync. You need a scanner (Snap-On Modis or other) and set it to zero degrees.
