Turn Down Tips

Postby peobryant » Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:38 pm

I have been thinking about getting a turn down tip for my truck. It has a 4" system on it now, and I was thinking of going with a 5" tip. Anyone have pics of trucks with turn down tips?

Also, where would be the best place to buy one, and is any brand "better" or preferred more than another?

Thanks

Turn downs? Yuck! JMPO. I like a 4" pipe just hanging out there, but a 5 inch regular is mean too.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I guess I'm an old man at heart. Running boards and a turn down tip...

I don't know where you would get them... I get all my tubing from work. I am an engineer in a custom tubular company. No I am not stealing it. I have permision of the plant manager to pull stuff out of the scrap bin. Makes for lots of fun for cheap. when I build my stacks all the pieces will come out of the scrap bin. :D

by the way I must be a grandpa at heart also. I like running board and lots of running lights!!! :P

I haven't even put the running boards on yet.

And the bed is entirely to nice to put a hole in. I actually did think about stacks, but I don't have the heart to do it...
