whats it worth??

I found a 89 d250 reg cab auto today with 162,000 miles and a fairly decent body on it and was wondering what you guys thought it was worth. im thinkin about pickin it up and pullin the motor to build up to put in my truck and sell the rest of the truck but i just wanna know what you guys think the truck is worth to begin with. it seems to run good, no mods at all, the lady who owned it before drove it from the east side of MI over to the West side. the frame is actually REALLY good for being a northern truck. i was suprised at how clean it was and it doesnt look undercoated or anything. just curious. thanks

Here in Tx a pickup like that would go for 1500 to 2500. Hard to say with out pic's. I would offer her around 1500, pull the engine and try to sale the rest for 1000. I would think you being in the rust belt some one would have a rustbucket they would like to swap thier engine into a cleaner one. That's my 2 cent's for what it's worth.
