Dierks Bentley contributes to the Pop Country problem, but he puts out some good stuff too.

If you don't acknowledge the top shelf quality in vocal and musical talent that is Alabama, I don't know what to say to you.

Close your eyes and just listen the first time it plays. Then open them the second time you play it

I remember most of their music videos growing up as a kid. When dad was home on a rainy Sunday CMT or the like was all that was allowed on the tube. No cartoons, no sports, just country music.

Been spending a lot of time in the tractor, so I've been getting acquainted with the radio again. I guess some of this new stuff is OK before the stations play the life out of it.

Justin Moore "Home Sweet Home"- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG5GVxALPpM

Tim McGraw "Shotgun Rider" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zrFgiSZnfg

And the classics:

David Allan Coe "The Ride" -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1IoLMqpRY4

Alabama "Tennessee River" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPhx_fhfzL0

We have 99.1 WYXY out of Champaign. I can get it depending on what I'm in and what my elevation is. They're almost always pre-1995. I always listen to Country Gold on Sunday nights and the local station has That 90's Show right before that.
