The last post was in 2011

I've seen threads like this on other sites, so lets keep it going!

I found these guys about a year ago. I've played their newest album hundreds of times. They're dang good. Blackberry Smoke. They may be more popular down south.

Also I've been keeping up with Josh Thompson. I really like that he writes his own stuff and doesn't stoop to the pop/country level that seems to be the norm now.

So what have you been listening to?

Trivium, haven't heard a single bad song from them. They're my go-to band.

Also been digging MyGrain, just heard a few of their songs though. Killing Time is a good one, but no linky from mobile.

I just listen to a big playlist of Slayer when I'm wrenching on the Dodge. Keeps my attitude positive.

I don't have a CD player so I just listen to the local classic country station.

Usually one of the 3 local country stations, sometimes NPR for the news local and worldwide. If I have service, or wi-fi, its Colt Ford, The Lacs, Kenny Wayne Shepard, or Five Finger Death Punch on the Pandora.

Have to look into Blackberry Smoke, sounds pretty good

Don't have a CD player in the truck but in the Subaru I have the first disc of How the West Was Won by Led Zeppelin. It's an awesome live album that every Zeppelin fan should have.

I just discovered Pandora for myself. It was George Strait today. Pretty heavy on 80's and 90's country.

Lately it's the Flying Burrito Brothers "Gilded Palace of Sin". I'm not into country music but oddly enough I will listen to anything featuring Gram Parsons. One of the greatest tragedies in country and rock music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VYxdqt4k3A
