Exceedingly rare.

And don't they only go up to 3000 RPM?

id say new in box with the paperwork is def worth 300. i sold one, with harness, on ebay for 250. i was hoping for more, but happy with that. i once saw a NOS factory tach still in box listed for $1000 on the tdr classifieds. ive also seen them listed for $400 for a used one, or the one i bought i paid $75 for. $300 is a great price if thats what you are after.

the redline is at 3000. it goes to 4000 at least, maybe more. its been a while since ive had one.

Ive been looking to get guages stuff but havent decided on what I want to go with. I just thought it would neat to have stock tach. Didn't no if they were better or worse than aftermarket. I wish I had known they were so rare a friend told me where 2 where in a junkyard last year but I never went.

Talk him down. People have gone insane on the value of these. They read up to 4K.

If I cant trade him out of it or talk him down a bunch I may do something different or wait. I have had a design kicking around for gauges using the same space as the cluster just havent made up my mind.
