the ball stud for the Z bar was also real fun to get in there and bolted up with header tubes everywhere.

...know that feeling

is that a quadrabog sitting on that manifold?

Yep sure is. I know a lot of people don't like Q jets but I love em.

IT RUNS!!!!!! After screwing with the timing and swapping dizzys I got her running seems to run real good but I got to pull the intake and headers back off to realign em as I got a horrendous exhaust leak on the 4-5 flange.

I just swapped tops and stuck the old one back in, the old one still worked decent but had a real sloppy shifter. I'll be keeping my eyes open for a 64-67 SM420 to rebuild. It only takes about 30 minutes to swap trannys.

Nope, this truck doesn't have AC, so it's not worthy anymore. :D

Are those alcoa's on there. That has to be my favorite body style chevy and always liked the coil sprung rear suspension.

Been working on it again. refreshed the interior, did kind of a 71-2 cheyenne super style interior. Als cleaned up under the hood, and gave it a fresh shot of black. also picked up a 67 and a 68chassis service manual at a little swap meet paid a buck for the pair.

Next on the to do list is dash pad, carpet and to get some decent bumpers on it.

This is what color we went with the interior.
