Do you know if it's fire or fuel ? ?
when it don't start i would give it shot of either just to rule out a few things.

i hate throwing parts at something, but these stupid computer controled cars almost make
a back yard mechanic have to do it.

if it does fire off with either, it seems like it could be not getting the proper fuel psi after
warmed up to fire the injectors. just a thought.

Well, I have checked both Dar. Sometimes it will fire on ether, some not. I checked the last time it frigged and there was no spark. I talked to the mechanic today and he told me some test's to do the next time it frigs. Its supposed to rain for a week so not sure when I will ge to it.

So the story is the " cam sensor " which is the electronic ignition in the distributor was fubar. He got it so it would not run and checked for the coil signal and fuel injector signal. Neither one was getting signal to fire. He treated me real good too. Sold me the parts at his cost, and charged 25 bucks for labor. Sweet, as long as it fixes it. We drove it home and let it idle for 30 minutes and it fired right back up. I hope thats it.

I REALLY wish I had looked at this topic sooner. :(
I made a similar mistake over a bad coil once and actually JUNKED a pretty nice '93 D-250 with a 360 Magnum.

Of the problems with these type of fuel/ignition system (Jeep Based, Dodge called it "Magnum"), MOST of the time a no-start in a hot state is Crank, Cam (distributor) or coil.
VERY rarely is the fuel pump the culprit on hot starts.
Surprisingly, very few were actually related to the control module directly, though some were chafe-related, which took out the control module.

I learned a LOT about the '92-'95 Dodge Magnum EFI systems when I put one into a '68 Dart years ago and the Jeep 4.0 liter system is the same basic system.

Mark.
