What gives?

Our electrical on our horse trailer is screwin with me. The lights work fine until I hit the breaks and then the tail lights go out. The rest of the clearance lights stay on. I am to tired to mess with it tonight. Solve it so I can read the obvious in the morning and reply "yah, i new that".

ground, ground, ground....... :bh:

Coul;d be the the ground but I would expect the marker lights to go out as well. Try turning off the lights and hit the breaks. If the marking lights glow then it is a ground issue.

They don't. We just picked this trailer up. It is older and someone has made a rats nest out of the wireing. I will fight with it this afternoon.
Maby re-wire. :;-|:

Sounds like a good time to run all new wire for it. That's probably a better investment of your time than trying to fix someone else's messup.
