It seems all the s10's and blazers eat front end parts. Once you start replacing them you never stop. I had a guy that worked for me that had a mid to late 90's S10. He had over 225,000 miles and he had front end work done every year for a sticker. They are a pretty tough set up other then the joints. My dad had one he used on his mail route and it held up lots better then the older 80's with the 2.8 grenade's. He bought 3 in a row an 85, 86 then a 87. He burned them up in a year. The 4.3's seem to hold up good. Lots of them had the valve seal puff of smoke when started. I would not have any reason to not buy one. They are pretty nice.
