Last night i got on a jeep forum and a guy sent me a 2 page testing prosedures on a 76 cj7 and he thinks ita a bad modual also, it did have a bad trigger in the distributor but replaced it, and he did send me a very simple and easy to follow color diagram. i will get it going this weekend. I still think it was a good buy Mr. Skilletky ;)  plus i got to meet you.

it had a bad what i call a pickup coil and a broken trigger, trigger had a very small snap ring down in the center of it, it was $13.00 but then i realised the pickup coil had no circut it is $55.00 and i found a rebuilt compleate dist on ebay for $59.00 so i just bought it. looks like the jeep has a new or rebuilt engine, trans, brakes, radiator, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and i have bought headlight rings, side marker lights, tail lights front blinker lences, aluminium 6in diamond plate rockers, i'm makin front and rear bumpers, and painting it O D green, black wheels. i hope to have all this done by christmas,  thats why i need it running,
