I have GAS

Postby Greenleaf » Wed Jan 03, 2007 3:54 am

Let it be known that I drive a Ford Ranger time to time. It's a hoot to spend time in this and then climb behind the wheel of one of the 1st Gens. Kinda like night & day

Don't feel bad. I have a Jeep Cherokee Country (soccer-mom special) for snowy days 'cause the Dodge won't move. When I drive it I sometimes find myself doing 20 mph up a hill before I remember that I need to push down on the pedal when going uphill.

That pretty much sums it up. I believe there needs to be a support group for us folks who DON'T drive our diesels in the winter salt/snow. Or at least a forum of which to post concerns such as....."I was driving the mini van last night and found myself stuck in the slow lane." :?

Scott,

I've ridden with you in the Silver Bullet. Occassionally you need to be reminded of this with your diesel!! And please don't try to blame it on curvy roads.

I got more speed when I cut a bigger hole in the floorboard, for that "Flintstone" effect.

My other rides are an '02 'Burb and an '01 Sebring Lxi coupe. At least one of them is DC, LOL...

They are not too bad, but I love the days that the wife and I have to take seperate vehicles to work. It means the Hay wagon gets to go for a ride.
