Thanks. I'll pull a bolt and see what the diameter and threads are and torque to spec. or else hit them with the I/R equally to about 90 ft. lbs.

Use a torque wrench....DO NOT USE AN IMPACT GUN FOR PUTTING THEM ON!!!

I have seen a bunch of studs where people used an impact and didn't have the studs centered in the holes, put a couple of thousand pounds and suddenly either the center rips out of the rim or the wheels become "instantly" loose.

Impact guns are fine for taking them off but multiple times of putting aluminum rims on and off, they start to stress fracture which will lead to some wild rides.

I know this is a while after this post got started but i had this happen to me so ill pass it on, I baught a 2 year old 25ft gooseneck 4 years ago and took off for a consighnment auction to pick up a D17 allis chalmers and about half way there i blew a tire so i got the spare off the top, got ready to put it on and it was for a mid 70's chevy 3/4 ton the hub rabbit fit was way to small, so i had to use the one off my truck. check your spare before you leave.
