Original Bucket Seats

Postby TugboatPhil » Sun Jan 07, 2007 8:05 am

I have my original seats for anyone that wants them. They are gray and of course, the drivers seat is worn more than the passenger.

They do NOT have the armrests, or the mounting platform. I installed 2nd Gen seats and used the platform for mine, as I did not install the console from the newer ones. I can't remember what I did with the armrests.

They are FREE. I would be willing to meet someone within a few hours of Roanoke, Virginia. Or if you know someone that would be passing close to here that could bring them to you, I'd meet them. I'm within a half hour or so of the I-77/I-81 split at Max Meadows, Va., and 90 minutes from the I64/I-81 split at Lexington, Va.

I would take them but would need the mounting platform. I have been wanting buckets for a while to get rid of this sh***bench seat. And also the fact that I am on the complete other side of the US.

I'd offer to meet you somewhere around Arkansas, but that might be pushing it a little too far.

Hey tugboatphil, thanks for you willingness to dive a great distance for some bucket seats, but I don't think that it would be worth it for the both of us. I really appreciate it 8)

Tugger, will the buckets go in a regular cab truck? I thought they only fit x-cab trucks. Does anybody know?

Pete,

I think they have been installed in regular cabs, but I can't remember where I saw it. But as I said, mine don't have the mounting platform. I don't imagine that would be hard to make if one had metal fab skills....which I don't.

You also wouldn't be able to recline them very far.

Sorry I didn't check back here sooner. I took the seats with me the last time I went to Greenleaf's. Philip took them back to Indiana.
