Hello everybody, just stopping in to say hello. Glad I stumbled upon this forum and look forward to your wealth of information.

I have been driving 1st Gens for about 8 yrs now and trust these trucks to take me anywhere. I originally owned two D250's and sold them to get a W250 when I moved to far west TX from outside of Houston. I kept the D250's purely stock as I used them for work (landscaping). I now want to mod my 4WD to give it some guts. I bought the truck from someone who modified the cab from a single cab to a stretched cab. I would rather have one of the older trucks with the 4 doors but this gives me a lot of extra room anyhow. It is in kind of rough shape and I have been working on it. I just rebuilt the whole front end and brakes all the way around. Still need to do the axle seals in the pumpkin up front since they are leaking a little.

I think the IP is getting weak as it is leaking from the front till it warms up and idles sluggish when it gets good and warm when towing and especially in the summer.

As I have some money, I will search the boards for modding info and post some questions if I don't find any answers.

I still need to figure out how to upload photos here to give a few pics of the truck

That doesn't look bad but could have used a larger window back there
