Gauges are my first mod on any truck. I use grease, slow speed and a magnet. I don't use pillar pods on a gen1. I use the gauge cups and screw them to the pillar. Fuel, boost and egt.

Good idea on the cups. I think the single pod with a dual pod to make 3 is a bit cheesy. Better to run the low pressure piston lift pump or an electric? I like the idea of not being stranded due to an electrical failure.

I have 2 electric pumps on my truck. The second one is redundant but it gives me peice of mind. I have one carter 140gph pulling from the sump into the cat fuel water seperator and another carter 140gph regulated down to 18psi pulling from the cat fuel filter up to the injection pump. I also have a 1/2 ball valve at the sump so I can cut fuel if I need to work on the filters or fuel system.

Sounds like a nice setup! Going to change the fuel filter on mine tomorrow. Do I need to worry about bleeding any air or just swap it and pump back up with plunger on the stock lift pump?

Should be fine as long as you prime it.
