New guy from WA

Postby 93MikeB » Fri Dec 28, 2012 7:43 pm

Hey guys, just bought a 93 W250 about six weeks ago after selling my 24V. Wow what a difference a few years can make. I love it! Feels like a real truck.

Welcome! A agree with 1STGENFARMBOY, it's beautiful country out there. RCCUMMINS89 is from that area too. He's on this site fairly often.

The truck looks good. No rust 8)

Yep, no rust. Bought it from the original owner. (stole it in my opinion $4200  ) These are super hard to come by up here. 5spd, 210k, meticulously maintained unmolested truck. I got a stack of receipts an inch and a half thinck with it.

It would be nice to find one around here with no rust.

Can't find a decent 12v of either gen back east with out rust, hasn't been beat to hell or dosnt have a $10,000 tag on it. My d250 came from Illinois and w250 came out of the oil fields of central West Virginia.

It took me about six months to find mine. Dad found it on craigslist one morning around 9am right when it was posted. The guy had people wanting to buy it sight unseen from miles and miles away. He was decent enough to give us first dibs. I met dad with the cash and by 11am it was mine. Keep your eyes peeled and be ready to jump.

I'm going back east here in a few weeks to cash out an Ira that has matured to buy another truck. No having a vehicle and 2 kids kinda sucks. I don't mind taking the bus, cheaper than diesel but its a hassle lol
