new alaskan member currently in walla walla

Postby clacey » Mon Jan 07, 2013 12:56 am

Hey all! I'm looking forward to browsing and learning from the information. I have a 1991 D250 LE. Returning from a trip to Florida I got my drivers side cab and door whacked by a hit and run woman texting on the freeway in Texas. A real drag because truck was in great shape. I have found a cab and front close by. I am trying to determine how much trouble it will be switch.
There are few other things I want change on truck, but first thing first.

Thank you for the welcome posts! Since I'm down here refitting a small salmon troller, I don't have the time to do a cab switch. I believe I'll just get a clean door and have a local shop try and even things up. Finding a door is not as simple as using the local salvage yard. It seems all body parts for the 1st gen are unavailable. I'm spreading my search out to include Idaho and Oregon.
Wish me luck.

Do you mean the "custom google"? It doesn't't seem to search 1st gen topics. Maybe because I'm using a tablet.
