New guy from western Kansas

Postby cutterman » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:59 am

Well I bought a new gen 1 in 1992 and have been a Dodge Diesel fan ever since, but of course that one is long gone and I recently bought a 1990 250 with a 5spd for a build I am working on. I am in the process of setting a 1948 Dodge Power Wagon on the 90 running gear. I also own a 2011 2500 6.7 cummins. A guy I bought a few gen 1 parts off of told me of the sight. Looks like tons of good info on here!

Thats my dream project right there....a 48 on a first gen running chassis. Next to impossible to find a truck like that up here in the rust belt. Keep us updated with the build !

This is what I would like to do down the road some day

Welcome!

And pics are a must. Should be a requirement to post pics before posting elsewhere on this site. :P

I will figure out how to post pics, I have been building spring mounts and hangers today as I had to move the front axle forward 5" in order to get tire centered in the fender.

What am I doing wrong? When I copy and paste the image code I don't get the picture just a bunch of text.

When you click on the image code, it should automatically say copied. If it doesn't work sometimes, you need to highlight it, copy and then paste. It needs to have this [IMG] on both ends for it to work...

Very cool sir 8)

Vintage repowers are my favorite types of builds to see, keeping a classic vehicle on the road while having modernized drivetrains.
