New guy from GA

Postby A969C1 » Sun Feb 10, 2013 3:07 am

Whats up guys, traded for an 83 D350 Crewcab and have been checking out this site for the past week, very cool forum! Tons of useful information. So the truck has a 360/4spd, has had an entire front clip swapped off of a later D250, and is in need of a bed swap. I've got a parts truck lined up that will give up a bed and newer interior (dash and windshield trim). As soon as I get a photosharing account set up I'll throw some pics on here.

So I found out yesterday that the bed mounts on an 83 are a little different than the 91 I got the bed off of. Shouldnt be too major of an issue though. And I also realized the back doors are the same shape as the front so Im going to try a set of later model door panels on the back doors. The lock knob hole will be on the wrong end but other than that I think I should be able to make some work.
