New from Middle TN

Postby Kevin I » Sun Jun 23, 2013 11:46 am

My name is Kevin. I live about 55 miles SW of Nashville, TN. I own a couple Dodge trucks.

1980 Dodge D150 Custom. It was a /6 truck but was converted to 440/727 before I purchased it. I lowered it with van LCA's and an axle flip. I'm also planning a stroker big block and dana 60.

My other truck is a little newer. 1998 Ram SS/T I purchased new. The only mods are a Belltech 3/5 drop.

Holy sthi that old one looks tits with those slots on it. Are those the new American Racing Ansen Sprints or a really clean older set?

Regardless, the stance is better in the one with Prostars but the slots are way sexier wheels.

Nice trucks. 8)

Welcome!

Forgive me here because I don't have any gasoline truck experience, but are those pretty much Dodge's version of an F-150 Lightening? Or an old school SRT10 per se? The '80 looks sweet.

Thanks. The wheels are 17" American Racing Ansen Sprints. I've always loved slot wheels.

I like 'em low. It looked like a 4x4 before I lowered it.

I love that 80. I believe I've seen it on one of the Dodge forums. Is the rear axle just flipped on top of the leafs?

Yeah, the rear axle is flipped. B-van LCA's and the axle flip lower a truck 3"/6".
