HOWEVER if the voltage is not high enough it can cause it to open and close very quickly..........causing issues.
Just run 12+ volts straight to it and see if it fixes the problem.

Run a full 12 volts to it and see if your problem goes away
PToombs wrote:Yes, there is supposed to be a spring inside the plunger, that's what pushes it down to shut off the fuel.
The 2nd wire is to send power to the thermo switch on the intake, then that closes when cold and sends the power to the KSB to advance timing. When the engine warms up the switch opens and the KSB returns to normal timing.

Here is a cross section of the pump shut off solenoid.
As far as getting injectors out there is a hand tool for pulling them out. But I just use a large pair of vice grips to grab them with and am careful not to let them slip and damage the threads.
Nothing special to the lines and return lines, undo all the nuts and pull them at the same time. On the returns, be sure not to lose the copper sealing washers.
PToombs wrote:The spring can and does fall out. If you pulled the plunger and you're sure it wasn't there, somebody else may have lost it. It sits up out of the plunger so you can't miss it.

#2. I started pulling the injectors, I got 4 of the 6 pulled. The remaining 2 so far do not want to cone out (so far).
Any suggestions?
Thanks Gary
