Newbie, new toy and want to see where I can go with her!!!!

Postby eyoung429 » Wed Jan 03, 2007 9:27 pm

Just bought my first turbo diesel and am lovin her!!!! Here's a few specs.

1991 W350 2wd standard cab dually, Only had her for 1 day and put a 4in Magnaflow exhaust, Just installed an ISSPRO tach, boost guage and EGT, autometer mechanical oil pressure guage. PO installed 3.73 gears, new tires all the way around. Just replaced the ps pump and broke off the stock oil sender in the process :(.

Can't wait to get her smokin!!!!!

Finally got to drive her again as it's been a wait to get the roads cleared out.

Yep, the 2wd duallies really suck in the snow. I can't get mine moving on any sort or adverse grade when it's snowing.

eyoung, just a note incase you go ordering parts your truck is a D350 not a W350, D's are 2wd and W's are 4wd. Most stuff is the same but it would be a shame to get the wrong stuff at the parts house. Welcome to the forum, if you need go fast advise there is plenty of experts here. 8)

nice D-350. loks like my 92 cept for the length of cab.

yep,,,, snow and duallys,,,,,,,,,,,,,i had to remove the rear duals and install srw's off a 2nd gen with traction tires to be able to get up the driveway. 700lbs or so of weight in the back against tailgate it does purty decent 8)

Ahhh....never knew that. When I got the truck, the po stated W350 as there are no emblems on the truck at all....I will correct my profile.
