I only had 1500 in the truck, plus the cost of new brakes and balljoints. If you do the swap the only difference in the rear axle is the leaf spring blocks, you'll need the f350 blocks, if you use the f350 springs for it to sit level and of course the front swa bar mounts, but only if your donor axle has one, the f250 sway bar system is completly diffrent

And the front driveshaft, if the trans. are the same, but I got lucky mine, it fit in and had enough room to collapse and extend as needed
