New from Western NY

Postby moose5.9 » Tue Dec 17, 2013 9:01 am

Hey guys, my name is Josh. I'm currently without a diesel at the moment, my last truck was a powerstroke. It was fun but now im saving that money and as much as I can to get a clean 93 w250 auto 4x4. I work for a major medical waste proccessing company, but per handbook rules I can't say who. Anyway my uncle and I maintain there fleet wny fleet of 10 straight trucks, 60 dry vans, 15 long haul tractors, 5 landfill tractors, 6 walking floors, and one capacity yard horse which is powered by a B5.9C. Ive completed two cummins swaps one into a 95 chevy 2500 and another in a 97 ford f350. Looking forward to being here a long time

Welcome! Got pics of the Ford? 8) I do love the Old Body Style trucks.

Just an FYI, there's a green 2wd 1st gen with stacks and a flat bed that runs around western NY. He's a clown.

Pretty sharp looking Ford. Don't see too many extended cab short bed F250's of that vintage...

Did you find an F-350 roller or piece it all together? Also how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

My dad's '97 crew cab is giving him enough trouble that he's finally interested in a D60. I've forgotten all my Ford stuff after having this Dodge for a few years

I Had an F350 4x4 parts truck at the time, but you only need the dana 60, the f350 front springs, the f350 track bar and track bar mount, all the f350 steering( the pitman arms are the same). the brake lines from the f250 work fine. the biggest hurdle is getting the d50 ttb out, and getting the ttb mount off the engine croosmemeber to use the d60 track bar mount
