New from Illinois

Postby Flingarrows » Sun Feb 23, 2014 7:54 am

Hello from LaSalle county in N central Illinois. I just put a deposit on a 93 D350 5 speed with 127k on the clock. I'll be picking it up next weekend.

The body is rust free, but needs paint. I drove it for 30 minutes yesterday. It runs smooth, shifts smooth. The guy I am buying it from has some mods on it. I am more interested in mileage, but dont mind that the mods are on it.

I'm sure that I will have a lot of questions, but will search first ;)

The Roo Hunter: 93 w250, lifted, 2 whistle machines, and a bunch of other go fast goodies, uhh..... not there yet

Plans are to put new hinge pins in the drivers door, fix the speedo (reading 100 mph while doing 65, and bouncing around), replace dash, new drivers power window motor and door panel, reduce the height of the front bumper, and re-evaluate the stack situation.

Its fun to drive, got 18mpg coming back from Milwaukee, and wife actually drove it around the block a few times. She made fun of the 80's body stripes, and the size. I assured her that the stripes would eventually be gone
