Back in a 12v. from Northern NV

Postby SeenTheLight » Sun Oct 05, 2014 12:49 pm

I've been kicking myself for two years for selling my 90 W250. So I bought a project truck (89 3-SPD auto) and the NV4500 with the intent of converting to the 5-SPD. Well, that turns out to be more project than I'm able to do. So in comes an extended cab 93 W250 with a GETRAG with a bunch of bad synchros. I have the tray swap, a few wiring issues, and a decision on wether to keep the flat bed or swap it out for the regular bed.

Looking forward to talking with you all... and hopefully hanging on the this truck.

Welcome!

I converted my 91 from a 727 to a NV4500, wasn't too big of a deal. We can help you out, like RC said, start a build thread and we can get ya going!

Welcome to the board. I say go with a regular bed...I've never been a fan of flat beds. :)

Well, as for the flat bed, I was never a fan of Dodges till I got my first Cummins! (OK, still not a huge fan of the truck...) The thing is growing on me a bit. If I get the regular bed, I'll most likely eventually end up painting the whole thing so I'll probably hold off making that move for a bit.

As for a build thread, that will have to wait till after hunting season.
