Quick hello. Just joined the forum. Living in the Denver area. I have a 1990 Cummins W250 I've done a bunch of work to with plenty to go. Joined to lurk for info and see what other folks have done with their 1st Gens.

Couple shots for proof of life...

Thank you. I've been on the fence with linking the front. I have everything to do it except the coilovers. At the moment I'm planning to graft the OEM rear primary leafs to the lifted front pack that's currently under it. The rears are 4 in longer then the front. I'll need a slightly longer set of shackles and probably pull a leaf or two from the bottom. Should make the front much more flexible. I like how it drives right now but the front is a little to rigid for really serious off road. Or what I want to do at least.

I want an OX Locker for the front pretty bad. Likely put my money there for the next move.

Thank you. I really like how it turned out. I had a vision when I started wrenching on it. I had to rush the tube bed a little due to work but it really came together. It definitely draws some looks on the road. LOL

What's that on the front fender, battery shut off?
pete

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

No it's a military slave receptacle. My jumper cables have the plug on one end. My winch is on a cradle mount, also with the same plug for "plug and play" operation. Works great but I obviously need to finish the front bumper so I have something to attach it to. I'm re-bracketing the front bumper right now to lift it a bit.

There's another slave receptacle tucked inside the rear bumper so the winch can be run off the rear. Still need to finish building and plumbing the cable to the batteries for that one though.
