New member from the Southeast Iowa area. I have myself a gem of a 1990 Dodge W250, Cummins Twin-Turbo Diesel, 5 speed gut-drag, 4.10 truck. All original, 2 owner truck, had 214,000 miles, on the non-working odometer. The truck was 100% bone stock the day I bought it 2 1/2 years ago in my senior year of high school. Started with the works, gauges, typical pump tune, and M&H M4 pin, and 4 inch exhaust. A year later it decided to eat a piston on a WOT run. Rebuilt the engine in the shop I work at. That brought on 5x16s an HX35 with a 16cm housing, balanced rods, and valve springs valair single disc ceramic clutch and some other stuff I forgot about. (pretty budget build.) This all equaled a hot, smokey, fast truck, that had no use. This past winter after locating a very cheap HT60 and a 12cm gated housing for the HX, me and a buddy fabbed up a set of twins. this made for a stupid fast, very cool set up, that could just use some tuning to help push it over the edge. Could use some advice from anyone who has experience tuning VE powered compound setups. Thanks for all the advice posted on the forum so far.
1990 Dodge W250 SCLB. "Midnight Madness" 5 Speed getrag 4.10 gears. 5x.016 MTP injectors, HX35 12cm gated housing over HT60, 26 cm housing. Pump tune, M&H M4 fuel pin. 4 inch diamond eye exhaust, Valair Single Disc Ceramic clutch. I'm Sure I forgot some things.
