Hi, this looks like a cool forum, so I joined up.
In 2009, I built a 1978 Bronco with 1991 Cummins 6BT power, C6 auto that I had specially built by Dynamic Racing Transmissions with 1200 rpm converter, and the truck is lifted 9" with everything having been replaced/rebuilt on the '78 chassis. The truck only weighs 5200 lbs, so it's very light for a diesel, and thus, it's pretty fast. lol I get 17 city/23 highway mpg with it, and it's been my DD for 35k miles, I love driving it. Of course I want more power, though.
1991 Cummins 6BT - Ford blue, of course.
Billet aluminum bellhousing adapter plate from Destroked
Matching flexplate, also from Destroked. SFI approved for competition. (It's VERY strong)
Just bought some sheet metal for it, I am going to weld in new quarters and door skins hopefully before winter
