Well howdy gent's. Nice to see a place that welcomes YOU and doesnt wait for YOU to welcome YOURSELF. Heh. That aside, I will probably have a bit of input and have a bit of questions coming up. I have had my truck a solid 3 years or so, and I have just now gotten around to bombing.

I made a new years resolution of going for at least 300 HP by '08, and with my current plan of attack, by what I have been told I should not have too many problems getting there.

Any thoughts, prayers, or recommendations would be appreciated, PMs or on here, or in a thread somone could make even, its all cool :D. And just so all yall know I do plan on getting a built transmission before/during this power upgrade, so do not think I have not looked into anything/ am coming from a complete noob standpoint.

I have had a long rocky road of forums and I call CF home, and I will be in and out of here at least twice a day now as well, so look forward to talkin to everyone and hearin back from you guys on my goals/ideas.

Take the AFC lever out, put an HTT stage III compressor on the turbo, and crank the pump up to the edge of runaway. That ought to get you right around 300 HP.

Well if thats all thats needed to make 300 HP maybe I will go with a little more  :D What might I expect from throwing in injectors with the pump tweaked and turbo upgraded? If I go that route should I go with a different turbo upgrade?

Where on/in the pump is the AFC lever? I have heard of it before but I guess I will look around about it.

You're really going to need an intercooler or drugs to get much higher. The stock injectors on a non-intercooled truck are pretty big, so going to POD's will not gain you a lot - especially without cool air.

The AFC lever is inside the pump, you can remove it when you install the 3200 RPM spring. (you were gonna do that anyway, right?)

Yeah, I am planning on doing a 3200 spring. When I get closer to actually doing everything (money slow at moment) I will post up, and let everyone know. I am skilled with a wrench... cutoff by arrival of friend in overvalved 01

OK had to go help the buddy fix a fuel leak he had. As I was saying I am skilled with a wrench and can take most stuff apart and put it back together, though I know I have a place I can come and ask questions if need be, which is re-assuring :D
