Hello

Postby outlaw5.9 » Sun Feb 04, 2007 11:22 pm

Well boys, this is my first "introductory post " on any of hte sites. I am normaly anti-social and just read, but I feel more at home here. I am from Mcbain, MI. I am planning on adding POD's, a PDR HX 35, a PDR fuel pin and a 3200 gsp to the truck in my sig, along with pump mods. :D I have been advised that I will be near 350 RWHP with these additions. I am going to wing the mod install on my own as there does not appear to be another 1 st gen. enthusiast in my area. Proud to make all of your aquaintances. :P

welcome to the group. There are a few of us first genners in MI. I am only an hour away from ya and would be happy to help with a few mods or answer any questions. This is a good group on here, feel free to ask anything.

Thanks for the welcome. Cshafer, did you perform your own pump tweaks. That and the injector switch has me to most apprehensive. I just don't want to screw this fine engine up.
Can anyone provide detailed instructions on timing the VE pump.

i think i saw a thread on timing in the engine section. if there isn't, you should start one. many people have questions about that.

Yep have done all my own work, well mostly i don't like pulling transmissions anymore and my local guy does it for 200 bucks so I let him takle my clutches but other than that I do the wrenchin. Injectors arnt too bad, I'm ordering a set today. When I put them in you are more than welcome to come down and help or watch so ya know how it goes. Should be in a couple weeks.

Cshafer, I appreciate the offer. Let me know when the injector installation will occur. If I have the night off I will probably take you up on the offer.
