Yeah Ford! Start trouble, I get the heat, and you sneak off into the sunset! :notfair:

At least that's how I remember it! ;)

this is the way to do it.

<----------

that avatar is 12k. it is hosted on photobucket. free account, upload, then copy the "direct link" stuff and put it in the "link to offsite avatar" spot. works like a charm.

photobucket won't upload your avatar? that is where mine is uploaded to, then they provide a link that you put in at the bottom of your profile here. i'll get some pics and post them.

k. first, you get an account at photobucket.com or something like it. then, when you click on "my account", you find this:

Image

hopefully you have the avatar you want somewhere on your compruter. click on the "choose file" button, navigate to the avatar, select it, then press (ok, enter, or whatever button) your compy says you need to do to choose it.

then click the upload button. after a try or two, and going through some screens of "no thanks, i don't need to chat with some skank", you should see this a little bit below the upload button:

Image

double click on the "direct link" box and it should copy the whole thing for you automatically.

then, come back here and go to your profile. you should see this:

Image

paste the "direct link" into the "link to offsite avatar" box.

click submit, and enjoy.

dave

ps. clear as mud?
